X1 project in X2...?

Just a quick question...I'm finishing a song mostly done in X1, I'd like to complete it it in X2. Is there a way I can import it and have x2 load up all my pro channel and vst's just as they were in X1 or will it do this automatically?

    You want to save your orignal x-1 files ...open it in x-2 rename it close it reopen new named file..move on !!

    I just loaded my in-progress X1 project into X2 and it came up perfectly with all settings, F/X, etc exactly as in X1.

    File-Open should work, although I did that with one of my projects and it sounded a little different.... Not sure why.
