X1 takes FOREVER to scan plugins

At least for me, X1 takes forever to scan plugs before the program opens....8.5.3 was alot quicker in this regard.....anyone else have this issue?

    Is it hanging on a particular one? Try to watch for that. 

    I had that happen, and it was a corrupted VST dll.

    Also you don't have to have it scan on each start up.

    To turn Automatic Scanning on or off
    1. Go to Edit > Preferences > File - VST Settings.
    2. Under VST Scan Options, select the Scan For VST Plug-ins On Startup check box. The next time you launch SONAR, your VST folders will either be scanned or not, depending on the option you chose.

    find the offending plug and delet it.

    Betcha got 5 times too many of those buggers anyway.

    The delete key is you friend. Poke it often.
