X1C?

I don't like the main room.  What is the verdict on X1C?  

Some people call me Maurice
 
SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc.  Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad.  2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1.  More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent.  Zendrum!!!

    If you like the whole X1 layout...

    X1C is less broken than all earlier attempts at X1.

    I've decided I can't enjoy the X1 layout. To me, in my personal opinion, X1 represents a de-evolution of common sensibility.

    There are many many small improvements made within X1 that I would enjoy... if the track view hadn't been turned into such an inefficient use of color and space.


    I have been saddened to consider that SONAR X_ may become a product line that I choose to not use.

    My plan is too have a fresh hi speed computer built by Jim R. very soon and then run SONAR 8.5 with all the work arounds I already know while I learn all the other DAWs I used to think it was a luxury to not have to know about.


    If anything about X1 appeals to you... then X1c is the logical choice.
