X1D ProChannel

Hi guys,
I have the now slightly old Sonar X1D.

Is there a way that I can configure ProChannel to put ProChannel effects both before and after the FX bin?

I would like to put Prochannel EQ before Amplitube 3, but the ProChannel tube saturation module after Amplitube 3.

Thanks.

Not in X1. They added an FX chain module in X2 or X3 that enables this.

A possible workaround. Have your pro channel modules you want pre Amplitube as usual. Then put amplitube in the FX bin. Then route the output of the track to a bus, and use the ProChannel on the bus for the post-amplitube modules. Same end result, just a bit more messing around.

    Thank you kindly, John.

I had been using the saturation mode improperly for years. I turn it on post and wow. Works great for bass but I like using my EQ as a shelver early in the chain.

The Sonitus EQ is perfectly fine for that type of application, and you can put it in the FX bin wherever you want.
