X1b Installation - Won't let me choose where to install?

I am currently running Sonar X1a and was about to install X1b when I noticed it does not let me choose where to install it (like every other installation does).  I have Sonar installed on a separate hard drive as my main OS, and its only allowing the default installation into c:/program files/cakewalk/sonar x1

Anybody know why this is?  Any way around it?

I mean the installation of the actual patch after download.  It tries to install the software somewhere it shouldn't.  The downloading of the installer isn't the issue.

Here's a screenshot.  It has a predetermined installation folder, and gives no option to install elsewhere.

Looking at the screenshot it certainly looks like it is intended that you hit "Back" if you want to change a setting.  At least that is what "...or click Back if you want to review or change any setting." would lead me to believe.  It doesn't look grayed out in the screenshot.  Have you tried it?

Yah thats the issue.  There's nowhere before that, nor back from there to select where to install.  It goes from the "agreement page" to the Registration info (name, serial # ect) and file type associations, to this.

Frustrating as it says "setup type: recommended installation", yet has no "custom" option lol.

So I figured I could fix it through registry meddling, just didn't want to have to.

In the registry there is an "installation directory" setting for Sonar.  I had to manually change it since the patch goes directly off of this without giving you an option to change it.

    I appreciate everybody's help :)
