X1b strange latency issue - Fixed for now
Here's a new one for me. Something has changed in my setup somehow. I use to be able to record with such low latency that I could use post effects on my microphone without a problem. Today, I setup a mic for an acoustic guitar and the throughput latency sounded normal. As soon as I hit play, I suddenly get a very noticeable delay in the live audio. I can stop, go to setup and simply click apply without changing any parameters and once again, the live audio comes through without noticeable delay until I hit play. Then it is delayed once again!
I cleaned out my Picture Cache and tried adjusting my record and playback buffers from 1024 to 512 and back without fixing the issue.
I rebooted also. At this point, I am going to try a system restore to see if a Windows 7 update
changed something. I may have to reinstall the ASIO drivers.
Anyone have this problem?

Update: I rebooted and did not have to reinstall anything. Symptoms went away!
