X1c Believer
I am going to put aside my previous frustration and I am going to have some faith that X1c will be the bomb. Now don't get me wrong, I don't expect it to walk on water, I just expect it to fix the legitimate 'bugs'. I may still have my preferences regarding a few issues with the current GUI, but I just want everything to WORK the way it is supposed to. After that milestone we can move on to Phase II which is giving feedback to Cakewalk on the GUI and Workflow. This can be addressed in X2 which I will gladly pay for. Let X1 that I already paid for work correctly please.

They have improved on X1 with every update so it should be a lot better.

You know, "the bomb" could be interpreted more than one way. And if you are from the Mac world, you will *definitely* interpret it wrong. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst I suppose. :)

I have not bought X1. I am still on 8.5.3. So I am glad that X1c is a cumulative update. BRAVO TO CAKEWALK ! ! !

I hope so too. Otherwise, I am ready to blow away my X1 installation, as it is currently utterly unusable for me - it crashes on launching old projects, closing new projects, and far too many points in between. 8.5.3 continues to work wonderfully for now.
