X1c record monitor delay

X1c record monitor delay

  Occasionally I am recording a new song there is a problem where the vocal in headphone monitor is "late" when in record but I hear the monitor in synch when in playback. I go to other songs and find the headphone monitor in record synch with no problems. This is apparently a "settings" issue, but there are so many individual settings I do not know where to start. Anyone have any suggestions? Cheers: Nolo

    Have just copied everything into a new project and the monitor delay problem when recording is resolved. I would still like to know what causes this as it crops up from time to time. Is there a settings file I can copy and forward? Cheers: Nolo

    Have just copied everything into a new project and the monitor delay problem when recording is resolved.

    I would take any old file and open it in a new project and rename it and save and work from there, then you have old and new files
    i wouldnt expect a file record'd in X-1b to runn too well in X-1c or
    be with out issues. that just me though ~

    Yes - we are too busy getting the music done, let alone dealing with computer issues. The work-around does work so let's just get on with the biz. Thanks for your response. Cheers: Nolo
