X1c-Deleting Selected Tracks Deletes Unwanted Tracks & Brings up Console View?

Has anyone had the misfortune of deleting several selected MIDI tracks which deletes those tracks as expected and then deletes the first several tracks (that were not selected) and bring up the Console View afterwards?

Today I imported several MIDI tracks from another program, selected the tracks that were not needed, and clicked delete tracks.  Those tracks were deleted but so were the first several unselected tracks in track view.  Then the CV just popped up for no apparent reason.  This happened at least three times on one project.

A simple UNDO restored the project and all went well until the next time I imported a group of  MIDI tracks.

    That is weird. But I do remember reading something about the console view popping up out of no where. Hopefully someone else will recall the thread. Never happened to me though.
