X1d Expanded and Stutter Edit

Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

I have Stutter Edit installed. It is set up as a synth and vst scan has detected it. However it does not show up in the synth menu or the plug in menu, until i remove the synth tick, then it shows in the plug in menu. Obviously it is useless here as there is no midi control.

Anyone got any ideas?

Greetings; How do you have it configured in the Cakewalk plugin utility?

I don't have X1 in front of me, so i can't go thru the specific settings i use for midi-controlled fx such as Grossbeat and Artillery 2, but i recall that you have to choose the correct set-up configuration to use such a plugin properly.

I believe I have it set up correctly with it set up as a synth in the properties page. VST scan detects it but doesn't show it in the menu.

    Puzzled.
