X1d Expanded anomalies

Sonar X1d Expanded anomalies:
When I move a clip, the clip to the right of the moved clip slip edits itself to almost nothing. Sometime locking the clip keeps this from happening, sometimes not. Work around = Go to the end of the blank space in the track and slip edit the almost non-existent clip back to its original start time. This issue isn’t X1 exclusive. I’m pretty sure I had this problem in Sonar 7.
Clips with fades will sometimes move the fade start time to the beginning of the clip. Work around = move the fade start times back to their original location at the end of the clips. This issue started with X1d Expanded.
Solo a track that has a send bus and hear anything else that is sent to the same send bus along with the solo’d track. Work around = Mute the send bus(s) but then I don’t hear the solo’d track with the send effects. This is probably by design. Am I missing a simple solution?
Sonar won’t recognize my iLok if it’s plugged in when I launch the X1d Expanded Producer. Work around = Launch the program and wait until a plug asks for authorization, then plug in the iLok.
Sometimes Sonar won’t recognize my sound card. I don’t have a solid work around for this one yet. I usually open preferences and make sure it’s in the list and then close and re-open Sonar, then plug in the interface and hope that Sonar asks to make the sound card available.
None of these issues are show stoppers and I do get my work done but I could certainly do without them.
Thanks for listening (reading that is).

I have an iLok permanently connected with no issues.

I've read that the best way to make sure your interface is recognised is to boot it up before you boot up your computer. If you have an internal soundcard, ignore this!

I use a laptop most of the time so I pretty much have to remove the iLok. I've tried plugging in my usb interface prior to booting with mixed results. Thanks for the reply.

I boot with my iLok connected to a hub and boot with no problems.
