X1d Update question

Does the X1d update include a,b, and c?

    Yes plus the hot fixes as well. I may have answered that too quickly. Not sure about the a patch.

    this is from the installation instructions:

    Installation Instructions

    To install the SONAR X1d update, you must already have SONAR X1c Producer/Studio/Essential (Build 319) or SONAR X1 Expanded (Build 425) installed. If you have a QuickFix installed, you must roll back your QuickFix build before installing the SONAR X1d update.

    X1 C is a rollup of all previous updates and hotfixes and can be applied to X1 without adding X1a or X1b.
    X1D can only be installed on top of X1C for Producer Extended, Producer, Studio or Essential.

    go to this page http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/kb/reader.aspx/2007013277 and scroll toward the bottom of the page for a pdf download that clearly explains what you need to do for the version you have. Further down are the links for the 4 versions of the X1D update download file.
    I added the link as there is also another important step if you have SONAR X1 Producer expanded ie delete the contents of the Softube Folder.
     
    just follow the instructions one step at a time and you'll be OK. It's a bit unintuitive so just follow the instructions.
