X1d... delete midi clip= fatal exception crash

Have a project with mainly synths at this point. I'm simply trying to delete some regular midi clips. Highlight and hit delete results in a fatal exception sonar closes and will not re-open without re-boot and is not even running in task manager at this point. This is on a Rain computer i7 8gigs of ram win 7 pro 64bit. Anyone else run across this?

I think the Quantize midi fx is the culprit. try this: insert quantize into a midi clip then try to delete it. deleting a midi clip with quantize will crash every time.

if sonar wont reboot after a crash its likely a plug in interface/midi usb is the culprit.
discinnect all usb plugs used for sonar,
check in task manager, only look in services not proccess,
see if you find the offender,
your midi support isnt m audio is it?

Yeah, I just deleted a midi clip with Quantize inserted and got the crash. Didn't even need a synth inserted on the track.

Actually, it might be a problem with all the midi fx. I just checked Arpeggiator and Velocity. Same crash.

The workaround for now is to delete the quantize (or other midi) effect from the clip first, then the clip. Thanks for verifying for me. That's the 2nd fatal midi fx bug. the other is dragging a midi fx from clip to clip, or clip to bin, etc.

I also had fatal errors while deleting a midi clip yesterday in X1d, the bad news is that I  had no quantize. It has happened two times consecutively, I was not used to crashes!

Yep, deleting a clip with Quantize midi fx on it crashes Sonar X1d. I`ve had this many times.
