X2 Demo & Studio X2a Issues

I suppose the largest problem at the moment,is that I am brand new to Sonar....however though...when I had downloaded the X2 Producer demo, everything worked fine(all of the included VST's,effects and even my 3rd party VST's were present.
In anticipation of my Studio X2,I uninstalled the demo after a couple of days of use and then during the process of installing my Studio version,a message popped up telling me that it detected the demo...WTF?
At which time I dismissed the message & resumed the installation.First few problems that arose, were that both Rapture LE and Dimension LE are completely empty(so from within the module,I tried to manually drag & drop the presets, but it seemed that Rapture would only hold a certain amount and then the presets seemed to be overwritten and I was only left with the last 16 presets that I inserted.
I was not all that impressed with either sound module,so I chose to dismiss it,at least for the time being and moved on.
The Cyclone synth was inoperative, none of my 3rd party VST's appeared, but the Pentagon & Z3TA synths worked fine..that is,initially. My Novation Impulse 61 was working fine with the particular version of Studio X2 that was on the disc...but then when I downloaded the X2a update, that's when everything went to sh*t.

Yesterday,I discovered that I could no longer get the Pentagon's GUI to appear,I have 23 effects missing(I have a screenshot to illustrate this) and today, when I fired up my Studio X2a this morning, the f**king Pentagon synth was missing & Sonar did not have a clue as to where it went and scanning for it,was of no help.
I also lost my transport control functions on my Novation Impulse 61 keyboard.

The video tutorial that I bought from Groove3 has been a major help to me,in becoming familiar with Sonar, but what I really need,is a video that provides troubleshooting instructions.

It's been my experience, that there is little point in seeking tech support from these large corporate software developers and from what I've read on this forum,I won't EVER waste my time contacting Cakewalk.

The only reason I decided to buy Sonar X2 in the first place, was to purchase it from Sweetwater.com(as unlike all of the other music retailers),Sweetwater actually has useful & competent tech support(most of the time).
I knew full well, that it was only a matter of time, until I was going to run into a brick wall and that I would need to seek the assistance of Sweetwater's tech support...as they have bailed me out of trouble in the past, with their remote PC access program.

I have not experienced a crash as of yet,but I did notice some odd behaviour when I was using the Pentagon synth(before it disappeared),which was that when I had the keys depressed during the time I was tweaking some parameters of the Pentagon's GUI,there was sort of a hiccup & it appeared that everything was going to crash, but it seemed to have corrected itself.

Another problem I have with Sonar,is that both the LE versions of Rapture,Dimension & even the older version of the Z3TA synth, all have ridiculously small GUI(which is a blatant attempt on Cakewalk's part,to force the user to upgrade.
As I had said,I'm not to concerned about Rapture or Dimension...but I may upgrade to Z3TA+2.1...but only when the X3 version comes out.
