X2 Issue *SOLVED*

Upgraded to X2 Producer from X1 Expanded.  In the middle of recording, Sonar loses my hd audio device.  By clicking yes transport stops.  The actual error message is a box and has a lot more info.  This problem does not seem to generate a log to send to Cakewalk. I'm using ASIO driver and MAUDIO profire 2626.  I'm recording at 96000 and 24 bit.  Single microphone to a guitar amp.  The seems specific to Sonar X2 because I haven't been able to reproduce this error in ProTools.  I will attach a jpeg to this post when it does again.

I do not have to restart Sonar.  But I have to restart the recording process. It's a creative aggrevation at the moment.

This dialog is intended to ask you if you'd like to use a newly connected hardware device.  I don't have anything to plug in and test with right now...  But I believe if you say "No" it will permanently ignore that device and stop popping up the dialog.

From 10 this morning till about an hour ago, it popped 7 times. I took a moment after the original post to restart the system and check BIOS. I disabled the onboard audio. When everything came back on, I recorded for a good 45 minutes with X2, editing and recording back and forth. I've not had a problem since. I feel a little bit like a noob all of a sudden. I just thought it was weird that it hadn't done that in X1... so that's kind of a good thing... that tells me something in the audio engine has changed for sure. I will post if it happens again, as I said, so far so good. ... .. . AT stonehouse... It didn't give me a detail as to what it lost it just said "hd audio device." My computer usually calls the card maudio multi output device. That is why I went to the BIOS wondering of the Onboard card was somehow interfering with the audio engine.
