X2- Jittery Jumper or Smoove Groover?- Now Time Cursor

Hey all,

Just wondering if it's my X2, my display, my system, a Windows setting, or something common to all of us that the Now Time Cursor jitters across my screen.  It seems like it should move much more smoothly to me, but mine is quite jittery.

Is there a setting somewhere that might improve the cursor's performance, either in Sonar or Windows?  Or is this just the way it is?

Thanks.

Cheers!

Tony

If its jerky try pressing the pause key, as it is a hot key for that

    I noticed this too.

I suggest turning off the Aim Assist line. For me, the now time moves much smoother  when it is not visible.

I put Aim Assist visibility on a hotkey, Shift-1. (!) , and only turn it on when needed.

Thanks for the tips.  I'll try these when I get back in the studio.

    Cheers!
