Well, while I admire the work he has done and I really like the rounded faders and colors, I am not going to be using it. I was having crashes and even though I don't think his work was causing it, it could be. In addition every time Sonar comes out with an update, a new version of Panu's work will be required.

I recently cleaned up my Sonar.... archived about 100 plug-ins from various sources and cleaned errors from my disk drive and it is very stable now. Knock on wood.

Panu's versions of the Gloss EQ in the Pro Channel are much more pleasant on the eyes. Going there now...

I am greatful for all the work Panu has done. It's nice to be able to read things easier. He just makes my X1-2 better.

A huge thank you to Panu!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

This was the situation previously but now Duckbar *) can write mods to all SONAR X series versions and I don't need to build dedicated patchers for each version.

*) Duckbar is all-in-one replacement for the old executable patchers, Sonar Plus Toolbar, Skin Editor, SONAR Preferences dialog + much more.

All I see at SonarMods.com is a forum. What am I missing. Are there any screen shots or information?

Not being a very savvy computer guy, I find the instructions for installation very sparse and confusing.  I need more explicit detail about what to do in what order.  That is the only reason I have not used SonarMods, even though I registered a while ago.

Panu, can you provide more detailed installation instructions for those of us who are not as knowledgeable about computers?

No need for immediate update. Only EXE Colors must be relocated but it won't affect other features. (EXE Colors is a feature in Duckbar that allows you to edit interface colors such as MultiDock, Inspector, Browser and Console colors not accessible in the normal Preferences window.)

OK, seems like I need to write detailed installation instructions. There are reasons why instructions may be confusing and inaccurate: program is under heavy construction and many features have been redesigned from scratch several times. I will write an easy step by step manual and see if installation process can be made look less technical.

Awesome!  It probably won't be more than a half-dozen steps, I should think.

The most challeging part in writing documentation is to remember that as an author of the program everything is obvious. I'll make instructions and let you guys suggest improvements. :)

Thanks panup for these tools, they make it so much easier to focus on the reason for the program in the first place...I like alternating between dark and spring just to keep things fresh...

I'm using SOnar Platinium on a 6 core Lynx Audio machine and a ton of vintage pre-amps/eq's/comps I build for fun and sometimes money, REDD.47/API/Neve I also use the UAD stuff, and also use a Macbook Logic 9 through Apogee...

You use Spring theme at this time of year??? Sic. Or you're down under. Soon it's time to switch to the Black Label. :-)

I'm in the desert...spring is a relative term for "not as hot as the surface of the Sun"...

Here Summer means it's no snow in the ground and if temperature rises to the rare, extreme +24 C, people celebrate "hot tropical" weather. This year +24 C temperature was just a dream.
