X2 Matrix view MIDI playback dropouts

Hello, I'm trying matrix view for the first time and I am very disappointed with it. It doesn't play MIDI reliably for me - for example I have one measure long looped step sequencer clip using Rapture and seemingly random notes (around 10 percent) are missing when the cell is triggered during playback. When I record the matrix performance and play this recorded performance, notes are there and everything sounds normal. Does someone have similar problems? Am I doing something wrong? Perhaps but I can't figure it out...

Try increasing your MIDI playback buffers Prefs--->MIDI--->Playback & Recording. They default to 250 but 500 may well work better.

on the matrix track that goes to rapture click the d button to turn it into a direct to synth feed. x2 matrix is a bit wonky otherwise.

I did a search of your screen name, asked for the last 300 post. Admittedly the search engine doesn't perform well but I could not find these post.

The OP's post looks like a MIDI/Audio buffer issue like FBB suggested not a bug.

If you have problems you should log them officially with Cakewalk or else you're just wasting your time complaining on the forum IMHO.
