X2 PRV Questions About Key Binding Duration and PRV Snap
So, migrating to X2 to from 8.5 and I'm trying to relearn the Piano Roll to best take advantage of X2. Though I still have some questions:
1. Does the regular snap setting have anything to do with the PRV snap setting, or are they completely independent?
2. Is there any way to link a key binding to a particular event duration? What about linking key bindings to snap settings? This would be great if I wanted to quickly change my snap settings from quarters, to eights, to sixteenths, etc. (where just having N and N+[Hold] wouldn't be enough).
Event duration would also be improved if I could do this, though at least there, I can draw the duration by hand relatively easily.
If people need to change the snap settings or duration often, how are you doing this? Are you just setting to the maximum snap resolution you need and keeping it at that, while drawing the duration by hand?
