X2 Requests

Take it or leave it but I use this software full-time.  I make a living with it.  Here's what I'd like to see 'fixed' or 'improved' in X2.   (And please don't construe this as 'complaining'!  I like a LOT of what's in X1!!)  I'm looking for improved workflow (or FEWER mouse clicks)!:

This isn't much but would be sweet....

* Tap Tempo- like 8.5.3- minimum
* If you have an effect in the FX bin and (simultaneously) have the ProChannel "on" you can apply the effect, yes.  However, if you realize you don't want to apply the ProChannel, there's no turning back.  You CAN undo apply FX, uncheck ProChannel, re-apply FX, but it makes no difference- ProChannel will still get applied. (I discovered this using Melodyne).  It's pretty annoying because of the amount of mouse clicks.
* Sonarprd.exe running in the background when X1 crashes.  Lots of folks report this.
* While browsing folders in Media, clicking the "up one level" button (the arrow) evetually leads me to a box that says "The Parameter is incorrect"
* Would be nice for Sonar to 'remember' the last setting on a plugin.  (I believe one of the older versions actually DID this!).  Noel suggested the FX Chain as a solution.  Yes, but I don't always wanna go looking into the FX Chains for a simple redundant drop in.
* Overall FEWER mouse clicks!

    Keep in mind that by now the feature set has been locked down for a while.  They are probably working on the final release candidates by now if they plan a release in the Fall.

    Nothing wrong about pushing an agenda for further updates though.  Maybe you'll get lucky and your priorities will have been addressed.

    Tap tempo from a shortcut or on the metronome panel.
    S8.x has it.  I have to go to "Insert tempo" in a dropdown :(

    Just seems odd when in X1 it's all about immediate-gratification.

    I agree that the freezing issues need attention as well as the ability to route VST plugins within as well as before/after the PC in some manner...

    ...and for me? I would really love to have separate settings for each plugin as save/load as well as the "master" save/load fo the entire PC....? We'll see...
