X2 Sale

I remember Sonar always going on sale at least once a year for upgrades. I have 8.5 Producer and want to upgrade to x2 but cannot afford the price as it stands now. Any idea when they have promos? Mike

There usually seems to be a sale just before a new version is released, and historically that's been in the fall close to Christmas. If you begin to hear about version X2.5 about to come out, then that's probably a time to upgrade to X2. Just my thoughts. I personally really like X2 and it's a strong enough program, I feel sad you need to wait. Best of luck to you.

    Cheers,

X2 current upgrade prices are here.
Looks like if you own Sonar 8.5 that's a solid $200.00 off new customer prices.

Why don't you download the X2 demo and try it out?  It's free, although stripped down of components, but the engine and UI and all are all there to explore.

Make sure that you are getting Cakewalk marketing material. Cakewalk does some targeted promotions so those that already own X2 will not know when a targeted X2 promotion is going on. If you are not getting the Cakewalk newsletter, there is a link at the top of this page to sign up http://www.store.cakewalk...x?categoryID=47&cat=47
