X2 Smart tool... Did it lose some "smart" ?

In X1 in track view I could hover over the bottom part of a track and the cursor would change to the "move" position.  And it would change again if I hovered on the upper part of the track/clip.

In X2 it doesnt seem to do that anymore.  Am I missing something ?

They refined some Smart Tool functions in X2. Some things are different but supposedly easier. They discussed it in the webinar.

Its funny because when X1 first came out I really disliked that feature.

Now that it appears to be gone I realize I absolutely love it....

Yeah, I haven't been a huge fan of the Smart Tool but from what they showed in the webymathing it looks like they made it more intuitive. Work in progress I guess.

i was trying to ctrl + drag the old way earlier to copy a clip and got a clip volume envelope instead with 2 separate db values. anyone know what these two values represent?
