X2 Tempo Change

Hi Guys, 
Has tempo change been altered in X2?  Its just that when i change tempo it only remains changed for 1 beat before reverting back to the original so what do i need to do?

    Open the Tempo View (Alt + Shift + 5) and delete the step that's causing it to revert.

    You'll need the Tempo List viewable if it isn't already. Click the Tempo List button next to the +/- buttons
