X2 Track Manager
I have a question about the X2 track manager. From what I understand you can use it to hide tracks and mixer channels is that correct? If so is there also the the possibility to save the settings as a preset? Meaning you can quickly switch between different track and mixer views . Hope that makes sense. Thanks Adralicus

Not as such. You can use it to hide tracks but not save them as a preset. However track visibility is a per screenset setting, so it is quite possible to use screensets to do that, that is how I do it. Switch to a spare screenset, set the tracks visible how you want them for the CV, TV etc. then switch to another screenset and set that how you want it. All you have to do then is switch between the two screensets as required. HTH

One thing though - can you hide channel strips in the mixer as well? If so can these be included in the screen sets? Thanks Adralicus

Thanks Adralicus in the Hide menu there is an option to sync the console... so if you hide a track, it disappears from the consolve view too.

In fact it's easier to list what isn't remembered in screensets than what is. - Control bar visibilty state
- Er....... that's it I think
IMHO they are the best thing about the new X series by far.

Drum maps in the PRV never remember their state Karl, but this isn't a screenset limitation, it's a chunk of bad coding in the PRV.
