X2 browser won't find files

Hi Everyone. X2 with x2a update on Windows 7. Browser will let me go through several levels of folders, but, will not let me see the actual files. I have tried all of the view options. Any help is appreciated!

By default the browser only shows files in folders that SONAR believes are "playable". There is a setting to view all files and folders. To set it, click on the down arrow on the browser Media tab then Views > Show All Files and Folders

Thanks for the reply! I am trying to get to some drum loops and I have the "views>show all files and folders" selected. I have tried to open several loops In different folders.

Does that mean you can see the loops now?
If so, are you trying to preview the loops or import them?
    Are they audio loops?

No I can't see them. They are commercial drum loops, as well as the included content. I can get to the lowest folder level, like "Rock Drums 120". When I click on the folder, the file level is blank. Of course this level is viewable in Windows Explorer, so the files are there.

It was working under Windows 8, but I had other issues with my audio interface. Maybe I should reinstall?

I thought this was a Windows 7 machine. Where does Win8 come into the picture?

I had 8 on it, had problems with audio interface, went to 7. Really hated 8, even with a shell.

I have no experience with Windows 8 much less switching back to Windows 7. It does sound like at least X2 is messed up but that might just be the first indication of a more serious data integrity problem.

Do you have anything typed in the search bar that might be filtering results?

I reinstalled X2. Same problem. When I had both "views>folder" and "views>show all files and folders" selected & I hit the "B" key to open the Browser, the loop files flashed in the right hand pane and disappeared, leaving just the folders still in the left pane. Too weird!

No filters, good question. I do appreciate the efforts!
