X2 losing focus in Staff View!

I know we are beating a dead horse with the staff view problems. I have a particular gremlin that is really slowing work in the staff view to a dead crawl. I have found working on bass tracks that right clicking on a note to edit works fine as long as the note is on the staff. If the note is lower than the staff the right click does not bring up the edit window for that note. It only brings up an edit list for you to choose what you want to do to edit. I hope that made sense. If you close the window and re-open it, it may work and it may not. Is anyone else seeing this problem? I wanted to know if someone has a fix before I send a bug report.

Oops! - for a second there, after looking at your subject line, I thought this was going to be an editorial comment

Sidroe, I can confirm the behavior here. I find that it varies depending on what staff clef layout is selected (treble, treble/bass, or bass) and how far below the staff the note is as to whether the note property or the edit window comes up on right clicking on note. Haven't checked it out, but would the octave shift/adjust setting in preferences have anything to do with it? No fix ideas yet other than that. HeyDan
