X2 producer crashes when selecting Piano scroll view X2a build 351

X2 producer crashes when selecting Piano scroll view X2a build 351

I have  a project I have been working on for quite some time.Today I went to edit the midi drums and under window was surprised that there wasn't a line for piano scroll view as there usually is, but I just went to view and selected and boom, I had the first crash ever that activated reporting services.
I closed X2, opened it  the same project, deleted a few high demand effects, went to view menu selected Piano Scroll  view and the same  thing. I rebooted the computer
 
The tune has only 4 vocal tracks, 2 gtr, Session drummer, 2 small synth parts  so its not a hugely demanding project on resources. Now other view I have tried so far does the same thing and before I start over, importing the tracks into a new project, I wondered if anyone has seen this before

    Do you mean the now-time marker disappears?  If so, yes, that bug was left over in X2a.  When things went weird like that it would inevitably crash if you tried to work through it.
