X2 should have its own forum

Less confusion if the questions are pre-filtered by product.

X1 users deserve to not have to sift through all the growing pains of X2.

Please!  A different forum for X2.

You could be relegated to the Sonar forum like us 8.5.3er's. At some point you will, when they stop supporting X1.

I had just presumed they would be starting an X2 forum upon release. Guess I was wrong! Seems like the logical thing to do.

I'm an 8.5.3 user as well, contemplating eventual upgrade. I follow this forum mostly because the other one sorta died. Normally it's not bad here but with the release of X2, wow, what a mess. There are dozens of post repetitions spread over several pages...usually a day fits on one page and right now it's several so people aren't reading thru and they're duplicating threads. Hopefully will calm down but it looks like it may be a nightmare of bug reports and premature thank-you's for the next while.

There was some talk about this before the X2 release and I suggested the same thing. Let the confusion begin!

As an X1 'er I agree.
Please let the brave X2'ers do their beta testing on their own forum.

AGREED! Also, why can't this forum allow simple line breaks by using Enter or CTRL+ENTER? Holy cow, do I really need to use this ridiculous Nbsp; thing for every line break?  I would also like a search I can limit to an X2 forum as well, by default. This website also feels jittery and bad coz of all the silly pop-ups. Why not just use V-Bulletin like everyone else? I literally cannot make a line-break. Annoying. Testing. testing. Also, the giant, wasted-space screen after each post is silly. It should automatically return to my post by default.

Just avoid posting with Firefox. It screws up everything in this forum.

I agree, this forum software is awful, but I guess it's quite a big job to transfer years and years of posts from one framework to another.

It's terrible. I use Firefox because it suppresses tooltips in Facebook, and I shouldn't have to switch browsers because of a terribly-coded forum. It's really the worst forum I've ever seen, ever. I guess I won't post much. Really only here because of bugs in X2, like the step-sequencer which seems to have a broken advance feature. The 'Enter' key keeps trying to rename my tracks instead of advancing time.

Does the "Social Fixer" Facebook addon not suppress tooltips as well? I use it in Chrome and it seems like there's an option to customize every last thing about FB. I use Firefox AND Chrome for various websites, because differences abound all over the web. Chrome I use most of all but there are a few sites I will switch to Firefox for.

Yeah, I switched from firefox to Chrome solely because of this forum but it's been a good browser.
