X2a Export to Wav's Odd Behavior?

Original Project

Rhythm Guitar 1
Rhythm Guitar 2
Bass Track
Drums are;
1 MIDI Track
1 measure Step Sequencer Generated Simple loop copy and pasted 100 times
1 Audio Track With Session Drummer 3

After playing around for a couple of days I decide I need to start over so I delete the audio data but leave the tracks.
Also left the MIDI and the drum audio track
When I export it I get a wave file that is 82m

I now start a new project and generate the same drum track
When I export it I get a wav that is 43m in size
I then add the other Audio track and export a 43m wav file
I then add to the audio tracks the soft synths they had in the original project.  1 Ampltude, and 2 TH2's.
When I export that I get a 41m wave file
I have lots of questions about this but the first questions is why was my original project exporting a wav file twice as big 82m?  Is there some hidden data that needs to be deleted.

The method of Export was Identical in all cases.

TIA

Are they both exported at the same sample rate, i.e., 44100?

Maybe on the first one you have a lot of silence at the end of the WAV file. Did you listen to it? How long is the song? WAV files are usually about 10MB per minute. So 82MB would mean its a little over 8 minutes.

Thanks for the feedback....I checked that.

The work around has been to start a new project and to copy the wav files over and export then things are as they should be.
I suppose I got some sort of corruption??

    thanks
