X2a crashes - can I go back to X2?

Well I had X2 working reasonably well on my "unsupported" Vista system.  When I applied the X2a patch, I found the program actually became considerably less stable.  Several crashes, and problems with the audio engine stopping when I try to do things like move loop markers on the fly.

Anyone else notice this?  Is there a way to "un-patch" back to plain old X2?

Cheers, Jamie

It says on the installation instructions for X2A: "SONAR X2a is only officially supported on Windows 7 and Windows 8. Installation is not possible on unsupported operating systems, such as Windows 98 & XP. It remains possible to install and use SONAR X2a on Windows Vista though it is not recommended."

To go back, I think you can just reinstall X2.
