X2a-Export Mixdown speed wrong

After exporting a project I play the wave file in Media Player and the pitch and speed is higher than it should be.
All settings are normal so this shouldn't be happening.

WITW is going on with X2?

Check your samplerate settings? I had a problem with an old track being too slow and I had no idea why. One of our fine forum members (John I think) suggested that the bit depth was wrong (recorded on ADAT at 48k and the project/hardware was set at 44.1). Once I switched to 48 all was well.

Does it play properly in X2? If so the problem lies elsewhere.

Yes it play properly in X2a.

Also it exports properly in X1exp, so maybe there's a setting in X2a that's goofed up.

Beep, I checked the bit rates and all. They seem OK.

Are you using your interface to play WMP audio through? Maybe WMP is using a different samplerate than you think. I haven't encountered that problem though. Usually I just get an error if the file isn't compatible.

What samplerate are you exporting to?

What audio device are you using for WMP?

I checked one more spot and they were mismatched. Thanks Beep.
