X3 - Audio Spectrum Does Not Load

I get a message stating
"Unable to patch audio spectrum ...this filter does not support the current audio format"
 
What have I done wrong?

ASUS G10AJ, WIN 8.1 Home Premium 64 bit, Intel Core i73610QM, 32gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M, Presonus Studio 192

    What action are you taking when this happens, and what audio format (sample rate and bit depth) are you running?

    SONAR Platinum x64, 2x MOTU 2408/PCIe-424  (24-bit, 48kHz)
    Win10, I7-6700K @ 4.0GHz, 24GB DDR4, 2TB HDD, 32GB SSD Cache, GeForce GTX 750Ti, 2x 24" 16:10 IPS Monitors
