X3 BETA AT A GLANCE!!!

Hope I'm not letting any more cats out of the bag with this one? But I managed to score X3 Beta and thought I'd give a heads up on the most eye grabbing features!
 
First up, apparently Cakewalk got sick of people whinging about the features that other DAWs have, (that aren't included in Sonar) thusly deciding to make it possible for X3 to host any other DAWs that you hold a legitimate licence for and it routes straight into X3 so you can still use the PC on every track:


 
Next up is a Ouija Board, which seems weird and pointless until you realise that you can contact the dead music star of your choosing and pick their "spirit brain" for inspiration, all without ever having to leave the comfort of X3:

 
Then there's the new "Instant Talent" button! But to be honest Cakewalk really haven't managed to get the kinks out of it at this stage.
No seriously! All pressing the button seems to do at the moment? Is delete everything that you were working on and replaces it with a song by The Kinks... Seriously Cakewalk??? I could totally understand if it was Zeppelin... But, The Kinks?!!

 
And lastly, there appears to be some kind of bacon and whisky dispensers added to the Pro Channel, as well as a sweet Cowbell module:

I'm assuming the whisky and bacon is supposed to be combined, and if so? Where the hell is the Cheese Whip dispenser, Cakewalk?!!

So anyway that's it for now and I'll keep ya's posted on any new discoveries but really I think they've answered all our prayers with the features described and pictured above...^^^

I would so pay for a bacon and whiskey PC module

Just thinking about it had me reaching for the Glenfiddich... Though I am currently watching my guitar chops decrease with each sip, what's with that?... Obviously I need more whisky, right?!!

I just wanted to topple 50 posts with this one! *tips hat and runs buck assed naked around the boundary, milking his half century until it dies from dehydration*

Royal Yaksman, was there any sign of the new lens flare feature in the beta?
 

 
I believe Giacchino used this when creating the score for 'Star Trek Into Darkness'.

I have no idea but these were included in the box?... Who the hell still packages hard candies with software these days?

Cheers and welcome to the party! Have you been shown to the cheese whip fountain and kebab sculpture? Peeps were like, 'You need an ice sculpture,' but I was like, "KEBAB SCULPTURE YO!!!"

I have to admit, I would so use that feature for a video i am working on now.  Sometimes you just have clients that love tacky.

If you mean the kebab sculpture? That thing has to be eaten tonight, 'cause it can turn at any minute?!! Know what that means? It means, the next step up from mud butt! We're talkin' colon soup and ain't nobody needs to be filmin' that ****e...

If you mean lens flare? I say put on a strobe and finish the track with random clicks in the step sequencer! It's what the bacon-whisky would want! Hell, it's what, Kevin Bacon, would want!!!
