You need to post here Panu because CW needs to see your experiences. You also need to file a crash report.

hmmm... i can't recreate the nudge crash. i had playback going and was holding down the hotkey that i have bound to nudge right 10ms for about 10 seconds and just got clicks (which i expected). if you're willing, give me a basic idea of your project's setup like number of audio tracks number of fx on the audio tracks midi and soft synths and i'll set up a similar project to check it out.

hey panup, i'm guessing you were nudging one of the laulu tracks. i'm wondering because i noticed that you had an auto tune and a de-esser on that track (i don't have those plugs) were you nudging right or left? just a guess that maybe somehow the auto tune's lookahead buffers got a bit filled?

It would be tough to write a bad review this time around. I gave X1 and X2 some heat but nothing other than good vibes for X3.

I nudged to right by clicking "nudge right" twice as fast as possible. Auto-Tune was bypassed in FX bin.

Has this been resolved with X3b? I noticed something about nudging and crashing on their list of fixed issues.
Peace, Tunes

List of tracks in the project I wish there was a command to make a list of tracks, possibly with used effects, gain and pan settings, to a text file. I've wanted to have a nice project log feature for only about 10 years now :) Features like that never make the cut since there isn't enough demand for it to justify the work. Not that its difficult..

Yeah, it's a funny one, isn't it? Because of how I was trained and have always worked, I keep pretty solid pen and paper track sheets. But I've been thinking "surely the computer can do this job" for years now. I dunno, the irony is, I'm so ingrained in the habit, even though I'd like this feature in theory, I'm probably too long in the tooth to actually use it. I can't even press record if we've not got a proper track sheet.

I actually had an xml stylesheet prototype way back in SONAR 2 that would take the xml output of the old problem reporter and generate a nicely formatted printable HTML page showing all the tracks and buses in a project.

Sorry to clarify... I agree with your point re: demand. I expect people younger than me get by on some combination of memory, project settings and track names. It's not like anyone has to deal with anonymous rolls of tape any more. So yeah, while the computers can do this, the need for them to do it is probably falling away.

Noel, even if it never became a fully developed capital-F feature, I think a bunch of us would welcome even a fairly raw ASCII or XML export with that kind of information on it. Doesn't need to be slick, just accurate.

I demand it. Lately I have been going through all of my old projects and upgrading them to X3 and newer/better plugins than were available at the time. In some cases I will have a track originally done with Rapture DXi. It would be nice to get the original patch name so I could replace it correctly.

must be some kind of weird random one like you said. i have a hotkey bound to nudge 10ms and holding it down, repeating at fast windows settings didn't break it any of the 10 or so times i did it.

That makes two of us I haven't been able to exercise X3 too much since the release, but I hope to get intimate with it this week. After reading the Addictive Drums thread, I plan to make a beeline for it.
