X3 Is Going Totally Out of Sync

My metronome/clock is going out of sync within 4 bars of starting.  I converted about 12 MIDI tracks to audio.  4 were "manually" recorded from my external keyboard sounds, and the rest were from SampleTank.  I have my ASIO driver sync'ed up to "Audio", as opposed to Internal, or MIDI.  That's how I've always done it.  This is TOTALLY unacceptable.
