X3 Producer Freezes Up

Hi,
Every time I set up a folder to place common tracks into--say all my drum tracks--the system totally freezes up the second I click on the (-) tab.  All the tracks collapse and apparently go into the folder but I have to restart my computer to be able to use X3.  Sure would appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
Mike

Not sure how to approach this.
Are you using the same template each time?
Try a new template (if you're using the "normal" template, try a 16 track audio template)..
Sometimes a template has gotten "buggy" for me and I've had to overwrite it with a better one.

Let me know if that helps.

    Hey Arlen,
Thanks for the suggestion.  I tried using other templates but no luck.  I downloaded the 60 day free trial of Platinum just to see if the freeze problem is fixed in this version.  No luck there, either (too bad-I planned to immediately buy Platinum if it fixed the problem) .  Then I checked with the tech folks at Sonar and they suggested deleting all my C++ files and reinstalling the C++ files direct from Microsoft.  I did that and.....Sonar still freezes.  There's got to be something that will fix this bug.  If not, I'll just have to live with lot's of visible tracks (suppose I can live with that, but still....).

    Thanks again,
    Mike

Just a shot in the dark - delete your Aud.ini file, reboot Sonar and let it build a new one for you
