X3 - Recording in Mono but Meter shows Stereo

1. Select track input to Left Interface (left, right, or stereo)
2. Set Pan to center
3. Record from analog USB mixer w/Pan set to center
4. Mono signal records as expected
5. Play back mono track - track meter shows stereo signal with left side stronger than right and sounds panned left tho all Pan settings are centered

Same thing happens if I record the signal in Stereo and convert to mono, the track meter stays in stereo mode and sounds panned left tho all Pan settings are centered.

Selecting Left or Right Output will render a mono meter.

X1 & X2 do not behave this way. Does SPlat?

Another issue=Output to Interface settings show all 3 Left, Right, and Stereo outputs Checked no matter which one you select. The sound is panned correctly but you have no visual clue which one is actually selected. X1 & X2 had the opposite issue where none of them were checked.

What is the brand of the mixer? Some don't have good drivers. Even if it worked in the past.
You might want to try re installing the drivers.

Do you think this is a driver issue? X1 & 2 behave differently than X3. I tried them all one after the other, so I'm not so sure.
