X3 Users: which Sonar reverb plug do you like the most?
Apparently, we get an additional reverb plug-in with Blue Tubes(?) Also, is there now a ProChannel reverb? Is it included with X3? Is Breverb still a player? Inquiring minds want to know.

I still like perfect space.

I have Pristine Space - great convo reverb - and I still use it. It's a bit better than Perfect Space, however it's still only 32-bit. I hope Voxengo offers a 64-bit version soon.

I gave up on Voxengo for 64bit convolution and bought MeldaProduction MMultiBandConvolution. It is on sale this month for $22.

I tried really hard to like Breverb, I really did. Actually like the old Sonitus reverb better than Breverb. Perfect Space is 32 bit . . . but then I found Valhalla Room, sounds great, less knobs and dials are a good thing in a reverb.

Sonitus has always been a favorite and still is, but Blueverb is slowly growing on me. Matter of fact quite a few of the Nomad plugins are growing on me. Outside of Sonar epicverb is quite good too...

If you're looking for a great (natural) sounding reverb, checkout Exponential Audio. Michael Carnes (owner) is the man behind many of Lexicon's classic hardware reverbs.

I'm not thilled with any reverbs in Sonar, to be honest, including the new Nomad Blue Verb. The Lexicon LXP suite is quite cheap, powerful, and, if you care for that sort of thing, authentic (and it sounds it). The NI/Softube reverbs are unauthorized emulations of Lexicon units and sound quite nice, IMHO. For convolution, I like Waves' IR-L, which I got with their Platinum bundle. It has two amazing things going for it: First, it's zero-latency (can you say the same for PerfectSpace). Second, Waves gives you near 5-gb downloadable library of impulse responses, including some world-class concert halls that they captured. For subtler things - the kind of reverb a listener only perceives subconsciously, I go to Waves RVerb. Tried and true, what can I say?

The softube mixbundle has vst and ProChannel versions of all it's plugs and one of those is a reverb. My favorite reverb is perfect space but if I want to try and program a specific sound I also have SSL x-verb which was made by the same guy who did the IKMultimedia CSR

Strange to see so little love for BReverb. I thought it was a great upgrade over Sonitus and I prefer it over RVerb too. Guess tastes differ :) For "realistic" reverbs I run IR-L too, it's quite nice. But honestly I wish AudioEase showed any intention of continuing to develop for Windows. If they had a nice sale too I'd be all over that. Their library is great.

I would say having 4 different reverbs from X3 is definitely a good thing because all reverbs are unique and they all sound different. I like to use Sonitus reverb on vocal, try the short and sweet preset. For piano I would go for Perfect Space. When using session drummer 3, I would use Breverb's room setting. I am starting to like the Blueverb. What I learned from experience is I would always start with a preset, then reduce the wet level first, and tweek all the setting in moderation. If it sounds good, then it probably is the right setting.

I like the Soft Tube TSAR-1R reverb plug-in for the Pro Channel, because...well it works in the Pro Channel. Simple controls, sounds good enough for my needs. I haven't tried the others yet.

You're not alone. I like BReberb, and I like the integration with the pro-channel, and I think it sounds great, although I still use Sonitus quite often due to familiarity, but I agree with you that I think BReverb sounds better.

Sonitus! I think it's a pretty nice dense, platey verb. The included verbs rarely make it to the final mix, however.
Perfect Space does the convolution thing allright, but cpnvolution rarely agrees with me for some reason.
