X3 - colors and other oddities automation envelopes?

#1. The default light green for volume - becomes dark green, when shown in parent track.
 
Not always, but suddenly.
 
#2. Envelope not shown in automation lane - when opened.
 
You have to to reselect it in the combobox until it moves to automation lane.
 
This above comes and goes as you change screensets and open project next time etc.
 
Anybody seen this?
