FWIW, I have Cubase 7.06 and S1 Pro 2.6 and I find X2/3 to be much easier on the eye's.  The foreground/background color scheme makes it easier to discern small objects, and this alone makes it easier to use.  With X3 catching up to S1 Pro in several functions (ARA, for example), I now find myself wishing that SONAR had some chord analysis tools like Cubase 7.  THAT would be an excellent addition, IMO.

Yep, I definitely do recall... It wasn't of any import or worth a mention until someone inaccurately mentioned it as 'little'....
 
Now, sarcasm doesn't bite unless it hits a nerve, and it's much more polite than saying 'bullsh*t!'. If something is so utterly unimportant, yet it manages to get past the effort to post it, it is in fact important, claims otherwise not withstanding.
 
Many of us are absolutely sick and tired to death of all the negativism being displayed these last few days. Take it to the KVR cesspool.

I love my workflow in Sonar, I mean I really, really love it. I understand it and somehow the development team at Cakewalk seems to understand how I think a program should work because many times when using the X series I will think "if I developed this I would provide..." and I test it out and voila it's there. It's eerie.
 
But when it come to the cosmetics of the interface I have to side with Rain. FL meets Reaper.

Visual have an impact in workflow , workflow has an impact on time ....time on your work .....

I don't understand this thread. Why would anyone complain about having options to change colors? When X1 was released I was forced back to 8.5. The GUI for X1 was a disaster and if it were not for Sonarmods, I would never have been able to use either X1, let alone X2.
