X3b issue

After looping to jam with using GR5 the latency increases
and will keep increasing with each loop until unusable.
Closing and reopening the project will resolve the latency issue
but latency will still increase again with looping. Rinse and repeat.

I had a problem last week where my superior drums got slower and slower with each loop . The work around was to switch on the metronome and then pull the fader down so it was silent.

I wonder if this same fix will work for you?

I'm not having problems with any midi parts slowing down.

For whatever reason the latency is increasing on the "live" input.

Easy enough to close and reopen to get it "reset" but a shure-fire
indication that there is an issue. If Bakers read this they'll know if
they don't already.

Please list reported latency values from within Sonar Preferences, as well as sample rate in Sonar, bit-depth for recording in Sonar, and from your audio interface list the sample rate and asio buffer size.

Also, what effects from Sonar are used on these tracks?

So, it looks like that bug wasn't fixed, which is sort of unbelievable.  Since no new user would ever dream of this workaround I hope something is done about it soon.

You can also mute the metronome.

It seems not. I never new about the workaround until someone else told me.

Even though we're talking about two different issues I'm going to see if your suggestion
makes a change.
Appreciate you mentioning it STinGA.

The Blue Tube GX622 is the only effect in one track....edited...not true, Melodyne is used for 4 bars on one track.

Strange but true...
I took advice and added a metronome bus, set it to run during play, muted and
the latency issue didn't happen.
That'll work....if it keeps on working.
