X3c PRV Show Velocity

Every time I come out of PRV and back in again it shows the big vertical velocity lines despite me unchecking "Show Velocity" both in track view and PRV mode.

Its driving me crazy.

Anyone else?

It used to do this in Sonar 7 which is why I never used it. Drives me bananas having all those lines in my prv.

The PRV seems to want to open to the state Cakewalk thinks we'd want it to on opening (see the recent PRV zoom settings thread). I strongly feel Cakewalk needs to update this behavior to open with the "Last Viewed" settings, rather than using some arbitrary rules as to what they think I want my PRV to look like. Last Viewed would make it so that the PRV would open just how you closed it.

I dont believe it was doing this in X3b or X3a or X2 tho??....So whatever they have done they need to go back to how it was....

Its even showing velocity when none of the options are checked so I have to check and then uncheck and they go, seriously not cool for my drum editing workflow at all.

I've just created a new test project in X3c using the Normal template to see if I can recreate your issue.
I recorded a midi clip, double-clicked it to open the PRV, and I see no issue there (except for the annoying auto vertical zoom).
I saved and closed the project (without locking the tab or the screenset). I re-opened the project, no problem.
I closed the PRV (not minimize), double-clicked the midi clip, and I still see no issue (again, except for the auto vertical zoom).

I've also tried this on an old project which i opened in X3c and it seems to behave exactly as expected.

In other words Sonar is (for me) retaining the state of the prv/velocity lane.

This is with the prv either docked or undocked, and opened either by double clicking the clip in track view or opening from the multidock
