X3d Audiosnap wonkiness

I updated X3d tonight, and tried to use Audiosnap.  This is a very very bare project.  10 or so tracks, some UAD and Waves plugs.

When lassoing transient markers, the blue selection rectangle is simply broken.  It enlarges it's ratio-aspect vertically as you drag horizontally.

Also, when you zoom in and out of the project, you see little "manual" markers (solid white markers that appear on the clips) that continuously flicker.  It's very weird and a definite bug.

Question is, has anyone else noticed this?  Also, how do you report bugs like this so Cake can use the info I provide??  The second bug I mentioned is so hard to explain well :(

The only lassoing anomaly I see with the transient tool is that if I rapidly decrease the horizontal size of the selection from its maximum,  it leaves 'chunks' of the highlighted area behind. But when I release the button the final selection is correct. X2 did this as well; not sure about X1.

I'm not seeing an incorrect relationship between mouse axes and selection axes or flickering of transient markers; that must be hardware/driver-specific (as my selection weirdness may also be). I've seen some reports of issues (mostly audio) with gaming mice running at very high resolution; if you're using such, you might try turning it down. Also check that you can reproduce it in a new project started from the X3 Normal template.

brundlefly: yes I did see that as well with X2.  I think X1 does this as well.  I never start projects in X3 because take lanes are impossible to use efficiently with multi-miced instruments such as drums played by real people (read: not gridded perfectly, needing to be slip-edited and worked with a lot in most sessions).  So your point is VERY well understood, however that wouldn't be a solution for me.

Also, my mouse is basic.  I haven't changed any settings on it ever.  Used it since Sonar 8.x

CakeAlexS:  No.  I don't have the software or knowledge for making a video :(

Try and do screenshots with Windows snipping tool I suggest.

    thanks!
If I have time I will try that out.  Hopefully I'll have some time to take some snippets or some video to help get this solved.
