X3d for xp?

why at this adress it say its also for xp ?

    I don't know why, maybe you should email them and get it changed, XP is not supported (and in fact won't be supported by Microsoft in just over 2 months time)

    It doesn't mean that it won't work but of course as Alex already mentioned, in 2 months even Microsoft wont support it. I think you'll find that that's pretty much the case with any software developer; they can only support software that is supported by the OS

    i managed to install X2 on xp but can't install higher than that.  u think X3d will work ?

    No, for the same reason X2a will not install on XP. It relies on libraries that will not install on XP. There is a trial of X3 if you want to prove it to yourself.

    Thanks Steve. I wasn't aware it wouldn't run. Just thought it wouldn't be supported. You having mentioned it now, I've looked up info and have it clear in my own mind now about the libraries not available to XP..

    someone should fix this. by removing libraries and keep only sonar :)  ty all
