jb101 I just did a null test with an export of a One Direction song from X3c and X3d. Loaded both into X3, and on hitting the phase button on one track, the song instantly sounded better.. dj is right.
I think you are in the lead. That was funny!
Thank you. I was starting to think that my humour, like One D's talent, was a little too subtle..

Funnily enough I'm doing my first standup mid Jan, and I concur! Looking forward to my first beating...

djwayne I don't know if it's just me, but when I play my recording test samples they sound much better than X3c for some reason...I noticed a difference right away....anyway X3d looks great. Thanks !!
This is plausible... If you were experiencing the console emulator buzz without realizing it...then X3D would surely sound better to you.

Hey I know people are going to rib the OP about how it can't sound better, but I've been thru this, and yes it is possible.... What happens is this, you sit a listen to a piece of music a million times wihile you work on it. You become ever so sensitive to every little detail. Then an update comes along and it all sounds better. Why? because the DAW is performing better. Midi is a little tighter, the compressors and verbs sound smoother, the audio engine is more effiecient. Now you wont hear the difference once the music is rendered and is outside the DAW, but I am convinced it works/sounds better.

I think the real point is, if you think it sounds better then great (whether anything has changed or not)... If you think it sounds worse they would be 'ell to pay for (i.e. X3C).... :)

Has anyone noticed that they've gotten slightly older since playing with X3d? At this rate it'll be December again in approximately 12 months.

If you do a null test looking at a mirror while blind folded will you disappear along with the audio?
