X3e Folders, Metronome, ASIO

Hi guys,

A few things happening at the moment:

1. can't get the audio metronome to work at all on recording, count-in, playback - via my MOTU Ultralyte or internal laptop soundcard.

2. One project I have opens with all of the folder track headers expanded. I minimise them before saving and the same happens again.

3. Preferences Devices ASIO does not open up the MOTU control panel. It works with the internal soundcard and ASIO4ALL.

Wondering if anyone can shed any light.

Many Thanks!
M

If the drop downs are not populated in the audio metronome section of Preferences > Project > Metronome, hold the SHIFT key when starting SONAR. This will repopulate the audio metronome folder.

    Check for a locked screenset

Sometimes ASIO clients fail to open. I believe it usually happens when the client is already loaded in the notification area. Try opening the client from there.

    OK thanks!

Still no joy on the metronome - drop-downs are populated but no sound through any outputs or busses.

I locked, saved, unlocked and saved the screenset - that seems to be OK now for the folders.

The ASIO panel has also started working again.

    Cheers
