No.

I tried it once but it gave me such a headache I stopped.

Fortunately, I can, however, write somewhat lucidly.

That is one awesome fix list, especially the audio/MIDI stuff. Loopers and punchers should be very happy!

And bonus: Wicked-fast download speed compared to some times in the past. Nice!

  • Resolved a crash that could occur using Voxengo and UAD plug-ins in the same FX bin
Wonder if this one has anything to do with my numerous bug reports I've sent in haha.  I use Voxengo and UAD a ton and I get a lot of crashes opening projects.  The projects simply fail to open from time to time.  Enough so that I worry about it each time I open a mix.

Also a few random ones in mid-project while working.

Here's hoping!

CWBRN-22566 still not fixed (when a standard MIDI file is saved from the project with muted tracks the muting status is ignored and the resulting file has all MIDI tracks). This bug was introduced in X3d so I would have expected it to be an easy one to have fixed.

You sure about that? I just did quick check of this in 8.5.3 and X2a, and they didn't honor MIDI track muting either. And it's not advertised to work that way in the Ref. Guide AFAIK, so it's hard to see it as a bug. Since the way you get MIDI out of SONAR is by using Save As, it doesn't really surprise me that muting doesn't cause tracks to be omitted. That would be contrary to the general concept of "Saving".

The workaround would be to save a copy of the project with muted tracks omitted or bounce the active tracks to a new track and drag the new clip out of the project to "export" it.

As only a few of you follow me on Twitter, or are my 'friends' on Facebook, I'll take this opportunity to inform you all that I am not currently downloading X3e.

I post this simple fact as for some bizarre reason, it seems important that we all know who is and who isn't "downloading it now".

Thanks for your time.
