X3e - Loop playback and recording - million thanks!
Finally the loop playback and recording are flawless! Million thanks for this. This is the IMO most significant update. The only feature that is still left on my wish list is a freeze track that would account for side chaining... Erik.

Was bashing on it today with equally good results so yes, sure seems like it's fixed.

Glad its working well. We put in a big investment to fix this with over a months work. The matrix of things to test is staggering. The loop playback drift issue wasn't too bad to fix once we identified the root cause but the loop recording drift was a tough nut to crack.

Noel Borthwick [Cakewalk] the loop recording drift was a tough nut to crack. I used to think my playing was *that* bad and always off time (yes really!).

Release Notes Fixed delay on arming tracks with RME hardware. To enable faster track arming right click the record button and enable “allow arm changes on playback/record” http://www.cakewalk.com/support/kb/reader.aspx/2007013361
This did it for me! Thanks for speaking up Noel!

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.
