X3e Stopped Sending Proper MIDI Messages To Outboard Synth. [only a glitch]

I have a rackmount synth that has 2 banks of sounds, ROM and Internal. I am using the same INS file I've used for the past 5+ years without any troubles.
 
Today, with one track set to the Internal Bank, I hit PLAY and X3e switched it to the ROM Bank. Nothing I tried within X3e would fix it.
 
I set it back to the Internal Bank and saved it. Then I opened it in X1d to see if the issue was project related. It worked fine. I saved it in X1d and reopened it in X3e. The issue disappeared and is no longer a threat to my project or happiness.
 
I am posting this in case anyone else has a similar problem.
