X4 or. X customer?

Hi all
A while ago my email was hacked,
After posting 25 or so times as new member (different email address)
I was able to pm someone to sort out my account, unfortunately,
My purchase history has never been reinstated.
I have purchased every version since producer 7 through x3e,plus countless other stuff.
My dilemma is ,with no history of products purchased showing ,in this new system,I can't upgrade to platinum.
Read all that ray has posted, and used feedback form, but not had response as yet.
Trouble is with the time I've had to kill ,been reading various reviews regarding platinum and sonar in general,
And there's a lot of people out there that seem to sneer, at the mere mention of its name.
I am a musician not an engerneer, but must admit I have become addicted to buying tons of plugins many of which
I have never used ,and don't how to use
Having invested so much into this product I feel the urge to carry on but the longer I wait for my account history
To appear, the more worrying comments like " Selling out to Gibson shows they have lost faith in their own product"
And "This will be the the last Daw from Cakewalk" and  " No professionals use it"
Your opinions would be highly valued  thanks phill

"Feedback form" does not work instantly. But CW will react after a while.
Calling support can accelerate the process...

About comments: while some negative comments are real, there are several trolls in the forum. You can recognize them by just several posts, registration withing last 1-2 month and quite strange argumentation (all three conditions should be met, many normal users also forgot e-mails or account).

    In short:
    * "Selling out to Gibson shows they have lost faith in their own product" is wrong, which was proved by X3.
    * "This will be the the last Daw from Cakewalk" - there is no reason to think so
    * "No professionals use it". If you are professional, you can decide for yourself. If you are not professional, why does that matter for you? I am IT engineer, I use many tools other IT engineers will not consider. But that is not a reason to use something else since I know why other (more established) tools are not going to work for me (for what I am doing at any particular time).

Hmm. Support should be able to sort out the issues with your previous products, as long as you have records of purchase, serials and such - I'm fairly disorganized myself but I can usually find these things in my gmail.

I would say that the bulk of the evidence shows that the Gibson relationship is a better fit than Roland was, and the company seems on very firm footing with a very innovative new business model. It's certainly untrue that 'no professionals use it' - as quite a few members here can attest. I have Platinum up and running now and am getting into it with a new project - so far it's like a polished, subtly improved and even more stable version of X3, which was already pretty solid. Haven't dug into Vocalsync yet, or Addictive 2, but the other changes (Control bar, MIDI paint, ReMatrix Solo, FX and send handling...) are sweet and seem to work as advertised.

Will it be the 'last DAW from Cakewalk'? Maybe - if they carry on the way they seem to be intending to - i.e. no more major version changes, just iterative additions and fixes supported by membership. So it will always be Sonar, it will just keep getting better adding more features, and customers can get on and off the train as we need to - buying, renting, or renting to own a license depending on what works for each person.

The only other thing I would raise is that it is NAMM and many will be out of the office so that may slow thing down a little.

If you call support, the only thing you would is your (then) login to the account. Have you tried to log into your account. The account doesn't go to your e-mail first before logging in.

    To OP

I had an issue with my profile so I had to call CW. I called last Wednesday and got thru very quickly. Also got my problem solved.

Give that a shot as others have already stated. It does work

    Hi,
    I had the same probs,
but over the last month it was possible to
1-get a sso account  contacting Ryan Munnis via PM and
2 get all my purchases loaded in the new account via
a post in a thread in this forum- it has taken a while- but
Ryan and other person were very helpful.,
